This GERmanikure crystal glass file set is handcrafted in the Czech Republic from thick Bohemian glass and specially formulated and tempered against breaking. Unlike thinner cheap imitations where the file may break or texture may eventually scrape or even peel off like a sticker the texture on these files are chemically etched directly into the thick glass and is impossible to wear off. Chemical etching gently removes a portion of the surface of the file leaving behind random yet evenly placed rounded peaks. As a result this file can actually be used either wet or dry in both directions without causing microscopic frays and gouges on either nails or cuticles.

5.5 inch nail file
Most nail files on the market today are single direction files that "sand" the nail down. Instead a crystal glass nail file seals the edge of the nail with every stroke regardless whether that stroke is backwards forwards or a combination of both. Glass cleans up easily with simple soap and water and is durable enough to hold up to a chemical bath or steam sterilizer (up to 170 degrees Celsius). Unlike cheaper glass "files" there are no microscopic crevices and cracks in the surface of this crystal glass file.

Use Wet or Dry
GERmanikure glass files work equally well wet or dry on natural nails acrylics or rough callused areas of skin. Whatever you want to smooth these glass files are strong and durable enough to do the job.

Tough and Durable
GERmanikure crystal glass files aren't as brittle as you might think. The files are crafted of thick authentic Bohemian glass which is chemically hardened and tempered to resist breaking. This special glass treatment not only enhances the clarity and sparkle of the glass but also adds resiliency. While breakage is possible with all glass dropping a GERmanikure crystal glass file from a short distance (such as counter height to floor) will in most cases not break the file.

Leather Case
This set comes complete with a custom fitted leather tie case to keep all the tools together, provide additional protection and shock absorption in case the set is accidentally dropped when not in use. Leather is naturally cushioning and dehumidifying. There is room for one additional narrow tool in this case such as a pusher cleaner tweezer or similar.
