Designed, manufactured and tested so that every tool adheres to the highest standards of European quality. The precision and excellence of the finest Erbe tools, knowned for their high quality and workmanship are ideal instruments to take care of the uncomfortable and often painful ingrown nails.
To easily and accurately access those tricky, hard to get into corners of the toenails to get rid of those often painful ingrown nails craftsmen designed these top quality “full jaw” Pedicure Nippers for Ingrown Nails with flat jaw blades. To avoid possible dangerous infection the ingrowths that penetrate the skin should be carefully cut and fully removed from the affected nail bed.
Hand made out of the best quality raw materials, high-carbon steel used to make these great instruments contains some of the largest amounts of carbon. Produced by a special patented by Erbe steel production method this steel is virtually rust and stain free, and hypoallergenic, making these nippers some of the hardest and most durable steel tools. These instruments made of high-carbon steel remain sharp longer and hold up over a lifetime of sharpening and beyond. This superior instrument is further enhanced by plating each component of the tool with nickel, to protect against rust and corrosion and because these are Erbe nippers the plating will never come off.
The impeccable quality of these nickel plated pedicure nippers is hard to beat. The extra sharp cutting edges of this fine steel instrument are especially hand made to precisely and securely clip the tougher, thicker toenails during a pedicure. Every little detail is manually verified on each and every great Erbe tool.
The large size of these nippers is perfect for easy and effective cutting of large and/or tough toenails.
For better cutting these nippers are made with a box joint. In comparison with cheaper nippers that are made with a lap joint, these nippers insure against the skewing and side-ways motion of the blades, especially when cutting tough, thick nails and exerting a lot of pressure. When a lap joint gets loose it may catch a nail in between the blades and “bend” it. Besides being painful and very uncomfortable, this is really bad for the nails. Box joint insures that the blades that are positioned directly opposite each other will remain perfectly aligned and provide a smooth, clean cut. Plus, with these nippers you would rarely need to exert a lot of pressure because the extra sharp blades will make it easy to cut nearly anything. If after a while you feel that you need to exert more and more pressure, it maybe time to get your nippers sharpened.
